Megan Beveridge

Megan is an Amazon Operations Intern as a Team Manager within Customer Service. She manages a team of customer service agents and also has a project to work on process improvement within the site. She has also gotten the chance to take part in different trainings and conferences including a Women’s Leadership Program about empowering women in the workplace! In all, she says "It’s been really great to see my strengths and ideas be valued within such a large company!”
Ella Jackson

Ella is currently interning under the fashion designers at Milly in Manhattan! She works in showrooms at the office creating and presenting process boards and new styles. Ella says “we’re currently sketching styles, communicating with factories, and finalizing designs for the Spring 2020 collection! The sales team will then work with distributing the styles to store like Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Ave!” Ella is learning a lot about the design process and has been enjoying exploring all that NYC has to offer!
Lili Mourier

Lili Mourier is a marine and coastal science major with a minor in geology & pursuing a career in coastal planning and climate change mitigation! she just finished a senior research project where she conducted an independent hydrological assessment of Abbott's lagoon to assess seasonal variance in water stratification! lili is now interning for the coastal oceanography lab at UC Davis Bodega Marine Lab and beginning a second research project assessing the patchiness of offshore algal blooms!
Sam Oxford

Over winter break, Sam volunteered in Costa Rica where she helped offer free vet care to underprivileged communities. She traveled to poor communities that didn’t have the ability to pay or drive to receive vet care for their dogs, cats, horses, and cows. She created mobile clinics where she did examinations and surgeries. Sam also was able to give vaccines and assist in spay and neuter surgeries. She says “it was such an amazing experience for me! it was my first time traveling to a different country and it was incredibly rewarding to be able to help these communities while also learning vet med!” So proud of all of your accomplishments, Sam! You inspire us!

Caroline Rutten is an associate editor for the California Aggie’s Arts & Culture Desk and tutors at the Woodland Juvenile Detention Center working to help detainees in their academics! she also recently got back from studying abroad this past fall in Accra, Ghana where she was also a middle school English teacher for an after school program in a low income village where she did a report about the high drop out rates of females in the classroom! Caroline will also be interning in D.C. this summer through UCDC! we’re so inspired by all the cool things you do!
